WATER SERVICE: If you have received a high water usage bill from your municipality this typically indicates you have a ruptured water main. Water may not surface in your yard or around your home making this repair difficult to locate often resulting in a new water service installation. Vortech on average completes two water service replacements each week often referred by the municipalities to our clients. Existing water service materials include copper, galvanized or poly piping. Not all two water service installations are alike. We carefully plan the best route from the property lime meter box and into the home using both hand and machine dig as well one of our certified plumbers to provide all final connections. BC one calls are always mandatory to ensure overhead and underground service locations prior to excavation.

SEWER MAINS: from a home or building to a municipal connection or septic system this “transfer pipe” may require repair or replacement due to compressed piping, root intrusion, or pipe sperations. Using our pipe camera/transmitter technology we can identify problem areas and proceed with “spot digs” minimizing yard disruption or complete an entire replacement. We provide many sewer line repairs and replacements annually for our clients. If you notice hesitation with flushing toilets or poor running sinks this may be the start of a sewer back up and should be inspected to avoid a sewer flood/back up.

STORM MAINS: Storm mains gather water from your roof and the perimeter drainage system and then transfer water to a ditch or municipal service. Like a sewer main over time there may be settled areas, root intrusion or pipe separations resulting in storm water passage restrictions. This can and often does result in flooded basements or crawl spaces of one’s home. Annual pipe camera inspections are always recommended with older systems to ensure the storm water system is free of obstruction and operating well.

This was a broken sewer line which required our burst pipe repair. We were able to pin point the location using our camera/transmitter and conduct a site specific dig minimizing yard damage and placing a smile on the face of the owner. We invest in the best equipment to localize drainage problems and eliminate total yard destruction.

Our clients required a 400-foot long Water Service installed from the meter at the street and into their home along with final connections. Careful excavation was performed so as not to disturb tree roots and established yard vegetation, followed by a Slinger truck service to spread sand cover for both Under and Over The Water Service. Final backfill completed.

Providing dozens of residential water lines each year we as well work with much larger diameter pipes for commercial and agriculture applications. In this picture we have ran 2200ft of 4″ PVC piping across the property and connected three residences to the new water service.

Sometimes you just luck out... Having just purchased a new home in Maple Bay we had the very good fortune of being steered to Vortech Plumbing by a friend.
